About
One business.
Every owner.
One record.
RecordSplit helps small businesses with multiple owners track revenue, expenses, profit, invoices, owner-paid costs and partner balances in one place.
It's built for partnerships, agencies, consulting firms, professional practices and family businesses — wherever more than one person owns the business and shares its money.
The problem
Shared businesses,
scattered records.
- Money moves through more than one person
- An owner pays a supplier from a personal card. A client pays a partner directly. The business account covers rent. Each of these is ordinary — and each changes who has put in what.
- Spreadsheets drift
- When several people keep their own notes, the numbers stop agreeing, and every owner has to trust someone else's version of the business.
- One record ends the guessing
- RecordSplit keeps revenue, expenses, invoices, owner-paid costs and each owner's balance in one shared record, so the business and every owner see the same numbers.
How we build it
Product
principles.
- Honest about what it does
- Each product page says what RecordSplit doesn't do: no bank connection, no payment processing, no payroll processing and no forecasting. Nothing unavailable is marketed as available.
- Different kinds of money stay separate
- Revenue, expenses, capital contributions, owner withdrawals and settlements are recorded as what they are and never blended together.
- Owners stay in control
- Financial changes stay with owners. Staff join with role-based access, and salary data stays with people who are allowed to see it.
- Every plan includes every feature
- Plans differ only in their limits. You can start free for your first organization without a credit card.
